A new generation parthenopean writer, she made her debut in 2004 for Minimum Fax with the short story anthology Mosca più balena (winner of Campiello prize for best first work), and then followed it, in the following year, with the analogous anthology Per grazia ricevuta (which was included in the five finalists of the Strega prize). They are principally stories about women from Naples, fed on passion and suffering: this is what its about. What makes them special is the author's ironic and vivid voice.
